Storytellers
brought to you by My Writing Shed
A themed event for short written works!
Storytellers is held in-person the last Wednesday of every odd month at 6:30 PM.
The dates for 2023 are Mar 29, May 31, Jul 26, Sep 27, and Nov 29. Mark your calendar!
What to expect…
Storytellers is a bi-monthly event where a thematic prompt word is provided in advance to give you time to write something groovy that you can read aloud in under 5 minutes. Anyone with a Writership or Ticket can participate by writing a short work (story, poem, etc.) based on the theme to share at the event. Everyone’s work will be a completely different take on the prompt, and that’s the fun part. Interpret the theme however you want!
We’ll do a chill round of reading and sharing, then close the event by announcing the next prompt. We’ll be sure to post the new prompt below, too.
