No One Suffers Alone

brought to you by My Writing Shed

A Q&A community event where writers help writers!

No One Suffers Alone is held in-person the first Wednesday of every odd month at 6:30 PM.

The dates for 2023 are Mar 1, May 3, Jul 5, Sep 6, and Nov 1. Mark your calendar!

What to expect…

Every writer gets stuck sometimes, whether it be in the form of needing help overcoming a stubborn plot hole, wrangling characters into shape, grammar questions, general craft advice, or wanting to pick other writers’ brains and methods. We’re here for you! This is where you can ask any writing craft related question, vent about your struggles, get some feedback and answers, and provide your fellow struggling writers with knowledge you might have in return!

The format is informal with everyone having an opportunity to share what’s on their minds and to help other writers.

Anyone with a Writership can sign up. Tickets are also available for purchase to attend without a writership.

And one small request…

Please note that this event is meant to help, answer questions, and encourage other writers through their struggles (and likewise, to get help on anything you need in return)! So let’s all check harsh critique or judgment at the door. Every writer needs help sometimes, no matter what part of the journey they’re on.

We’re all in this together!
